my fondest memory about Aunt ruby... back in the 80's aunt ruby and I would talk on the phone for hours every morning starting around 6 o'clock we will talk about everything from family to life. aunt Ruby would doze off during our long conversations I would lay down the phone wash the dishes come back and say aunt Ruby are you there all I hear was soft snoring then I would make the bed come back to the phone aunt Ruby are you there still, soft snoring. after an hour or so she would wake up...

You know Rube when we first started living together I didn't want some lady I didn't even know telling me what to do.I was a bitter ten yr old. I just wanted my real mom. After a while I realized you were my "real mom." You were the one there for me and Judy. You were the one that went to get me back in school when I got suspended for smoking and hooking.
