We are sorry we can't be with the family today. We pray for comfort during this time. The loss of someone so dear is always difficult. Knowing you did your very best for her and that she is now released from all pain should give you peace.

my fondest memory about Aunt ruby... back in the 80's aunt ruby and I would talk on the phone for hours every morning starting around 6 o'clock we will talk about everything from family to life. aunt Ruby would doze off during our long conversations I would lay down the phone wash the dishes come back and say aunt Ruby are you there all I hear was soft snoring then I would make the bed come back to the phone aunt Ruby are you there still, soft snoring. after an hour or so she would wake up and join the conversation like she didn't even miss a beat...gonna miss you aunt Ruby

You know Rube when we first started living together I didn't want some lady I didn't even know telling me what to do.I was a bitter ten yr old. I just wanted my real mom. After a while I realized you were my "real mom." You were the one there for me and Judy. You were the one that went to get me back in school when I got suspended for smoking and hooking. Lol..You were the one there when I had a broken leg and a newborn baby. You were the one that helped me to the bathroom then. You were the one that blew smoke in my mouth when I had a toothache. You were the one that let me have some fun when i was a teenager. You were the one that had my back through some rough times. You were the one that understood that this young girl that you took into your life needed to be loved. I want to thank you for raising me and Judy. I really dont know where we would have ended up without you. You will always be with me in my heart til I see you again. See ya ater Rube..Love you.. ? ? ?

You know Rube when we first started living together as a family I was a very bitter 10 yr old. I didn't want some lady that I didn't even know telling me what to do. I just wanted my real mom. Then as we all started becoming a "family" I realized I had my "real mom." I want to thank you Rube from the bottom of my heart for raising me and Judy. I know it wasn't always easy but being a mother never is. Like you have always told me "you loved us just like your daughters." We love you as our mother. You will always be with me. See you later. Love you Rube.. ? ? ?
