Ruby Wyatt Walton

The wonderful times I shared with Ruby will never be forgotten. Although I was the "tag-a-long" younger sister of her friend, she never made me feel that way. She was like a family member. When she and Agnes out grew their love for paper dolls, I inherited them including the shoe box rooms lined with wallpaper. She was very special in many ways. She even loaned me her wedding dress when I got married. I'll always love you and miss you, Ruby.

I guess I've known Ruby since the day I was born. She was like a mom to me. As a child, I probably spent as much time at your house as I did mine. Words cannot express the love and admiration I have for Ruby. I am grateful to her for the love she provided me and I am certainly grateful to her family for sharing her with not only me, but I'm very sure with many others. How do you say goodbye to the dearest friend you have ever had? From my earliest memories she was my playmate. Many hours we spent playing paper dolls in the upstairs of her grandmothers. She was my ideal, my mentor, my friend. Ruby, I love you. Rest in peace.
