I knew Rudy for many years. His involvement with the Chicago area optical engineers was very important to the people in the Chicago area optics field. He spent countless hours organizing many meetings. He was a supporter of the Chicago Science Fairs. He was a man of many talents....he once gave me a jaw dropping piano performance.
