May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Dr. Sands, I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. God will give you the strength to get through this.

Dr. Sands I am so sorry for your loss. You lost a dad the girls lost a grandpa and Arthur lost a fil. I can't say I know how you feel, but I have lost a major part of my life also. My prayers are with you at this time.

Rufus has never been far from my memories of the great years we knew each other, sharing many laughs. My son was born while I served with Rufe on the WUP council. Although he never met Rufus he heard a lot about him from me because they shared a passion for Civil War history. Of course we considered Rufe to be member of our family since he shared his name graciously with our own Rufus - a very gentle and sweet Cocker Spaniel.
You will be missed, old friend. My heart is heavy with loss....

marla,
our deepest sympathies are extended to you and your family...he will be missed....
