Dear Cloer Family,
I am sorry to hear about your loss. Even though I never met your husband, and father, we corresponded for some time. He was a tremendous help with a book I was writing on World War II which includes his personal experiences.
He was the kind of man America needs more of. I know he will be missed by his family and friends. You are in my prayers

The Personal Life History writer's group sends our condolences to the Cloer family. His amazing World War II stories were always enlightening and emotional. He was an important part of our group and we miss his presence.
