Not sure what to say?

Rest in Peace, I can let you all know the barber shop is empty without Russell, been there once since his passing, miss his smiling face and those hugs he gave so freely.

Just got into town.Sad to hear Russ had passed, will miss seeing him every time I come here, would stop in to say Hi and give him maple candy from VT.

So sad to hear of Russell's passing. I enjoyed the times he cut
My hair and the conversations we had.
Rest in peace friend.

I would like to say how sorry we are to hear of the loss of a wonderful man. Russell will be missed. Me and my family visited him whenever we was in Mount Airy. During one of our visits my brother in law got a haircut. We loved him a lot. Rest in peace. Prayers with this family. Ricky, Sandy, Larry and Donna Hawkins

My heart goes out to the family of this wonderful and kind man Russell Hiatt. He will be missed. We always went by to see him during Mayberry Days. Prayers with you all.

Russell was such a fine Christian man! We enjoyed meeting him over 20 years ago when passing through Mt. Airy. We enjoyed exchanging Christmas cards for many years. Each time we were there for Mayberry Days we always had to get a picture and have a word of prayer with him. He had the same birthdate as I have. My wife and I and our three married children will surely miss this man who reflected Christ-likeness. We are praying for his family. Lord bless.

This past January, we were just there visiting Mr . Hiatt in this Barber Shop. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

A sad loss for everyone who knew Russell. May God bless Russell and his family. We visited his barber shop many times during Mayberry Days. Always enjoyed his humor and kind words. Rest in Peace. Walt and Marilyn McClelland from Johnstown, PA , 1960 Mayberry Cop Car.

You were such a kind and caring person. We loved coming to Mt. Airy to visit you. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
