Not sure what to say?

Dear John and Jere, Please accept my condolences on the passing of your son. I am happy you seem to be doing well in your endeavors.

It was always more fun when Scott was around. He will be missed but not forgotten.

I knew Scott as a bon vivant, a generous supporter of Alta events, and a vivacious outspoken character and life of the party whenever he arrived on the scene. Scott, you are missed and we look forward to memorializing you at a Zenko Disco tonight in Alta. Rest in peace. We wish you well.

Scottie was a neighborhood fixture in Gramercy Park NYC. He knew all the history and dirt of the area and championed our restaurant, Casa Mono, as we struggled to get on our feet 5 years ago. He was a bon vivant who will be sorely missed. I am so sorry for you tragic loss.

Will miss you Scottie........

We will miss skiing with you in Alta and Jackson Scottie, as well as you hand selecting the wines for our meals!

I lived with Scott since October last year in the basement of his Utah home. I'm still shocked by his passing. What a funny, retro, generous guy he was. I'm glad to have known him, even for such a short time. Scotty, you took me in to your domicile after I moved out of my longtime home in the Canyon. I'll always remember you for that. rip z man!

Please accept my deepest condolences. I had the pleasure of knowing Scott at Hotchkiss. He was truly larger than life as his voice would boom around campus as he greeted people and created fun wherever he went. He could make your day with his smile, his humor and his charm. I feel so lucky to have known him...he was a special soul.

Scottie was well known to all of us who ski Alta - let's just say he always stood out. I found out however that we had even closer ties. One night while having an alumni dinner at the Shallow Shaft with my Sigma Phi brothers from Hobart, Scottie overheard that we were enjoying our reunion and as it turns out he was a Kappa Alpha from Hobart. Scottie always volunteered to help others. He did a fantastic job of helping to raise funds for the Friends of Alta as the emcee for last year's fund...
