Not sure what to say?

Rusty was a multi-talented, generous and big hearted man. We miss him but will never forget him.

Rusty was one of my favorite people. I loved being around him because he was so funny and so smart and so talented he just made your day better every time you saw him. He took some great photographs of me and we played music together and had a blast. We could have a great conversation on any topic and laugh our butts off. I miss him so much.

Rusty was always a dear friend to all the Wichita James family (Alfred James III and his sons, Fred, me, Peter and David). We treasure his sincerity and kindness. He was a special person. Thank you, Russ.

Single Memorial Tree

Going to miss you Rusty... thank you for the many years of friendship and our love of guitar talk.. Love and Peace to you in heaven and your family here on Earth...

Rusty was one of the most talented, generous, warmest and funny people I've ever known. I loved it when we got together for coffee (not nearly often enough) and caught up. The world has lost one of the really good ones. Vaya con dios, friend.

A great musician that never acted like he was above younger players. I always enjoyed his company both as a person and on stage.

Rusty was a good man, a fine musician, and an inspiration to all who knew him. Thank you Rusty for all you gave us. Dave Pomeroy, President AFM Local 257

Lynn, Gloria and I are devastated by the news of Rusty´s passing. We will remember him for his wit, compassion and generous laugh, and how much he cared for you! Love you! Brian
