Not sure what to say?

My sister Joanne and I and my husband Joe Cotton were sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. I will remember both George and Ruth as such wonderful, loving family people during all those summer days in Hull (especially the 4th of July). Our sincere sympathy goes out to the entire Brennan family.

I was sad to hear of your mom´s passing, my condolences to you all. Mrs. Brennan was such a sweetheart with a beautiful smile and always so kind, she made us feel so welcomed. I still remember days of hanging out in the cellar room with a bag of Wise potato chips & drinks. How lucky were we all to have grown up on Mendum St. Our little corner of the world.

We're so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing George. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. This has been a very difficult time to take care of our elderly parents, I know your heart is broken that you couldn't be as close as you usually were because of Covid worries. Know that Mom is in a better place and with the love of her life once again and at peace. Love to all.

My beautiful Aunt Ruth was always a kind and caring presence in my early life. Aunt Ruth´s home was a welcoming place. With a house full of children already, she never minded my showing up at her door to join the cousins. She and Uncle George were loved and appreciated by so many in our family. I know we were lucky to have them nearby. Rest In Peace Aunt Ruth and thank you. Debbie G.

Aunt Ruth was such a big part of my childhood. Whenever I'd visit her after school she'd always welcome me with a big smile and possibly a just-baked cookie or two. Bill, Debbie and I visited her this past May and, as always, she looked beautiful and welcomed us with open arms. It was so great to see her. Her 99 years were blessed with lots of love and lots of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren!

My aunt Ruth to me was a loving and kind presence. I remember her from early childhood how warm and positive and accepted she made everyone feel. Aunt Ruth made everyone feel good just by being around her. I'm grateful for having her as an aunt and for her warm and loving family that surrounds her. Aunt Ruth will always live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. I am one of those people.

Aunt Ruth,
I have such fond memories as a child, a young man, and a father of summers on the Cape, winters by the Arboretum, and your beautiful voice singing to us at Christmas time.
You will be missed!
Love,
Steve, Liz, and family

The thoughts and prayers of the Walshes and Connolly's are with you. We will always remember Mrs Brennan. She was an amazing woman. One of a kind.

Missing you and thinking of you always!
