Ruth L. Chaffee

My sincerest sympathy goes out to Ruth's family, friends and to all that new her.

We became good friends after my family moved into her neighborhood. My children fondly called her Auntie Ruth and were over her house often.

She was a very gracious lady who was always active in the Wethersfield community. I know that she will be sorely missed by all who knew this fine lady.

I graduated from Ruth L.Chaffee Elementary School in 1999 and I was thinking about what was done with the current students. I did not know Ruth Chaffee personally but I remember seeing at numerous school functions and though she was sick during my last couple of years at Chaffee I knew that she was there mentally and it made me happy to just get a glimpse of her.
