Ruth Fox

1937 - 2022

Fox Ruth D. Age 84, passed away on October 27, 2022 at Ann's Choice in Warminster Pa. A longtime resident of Fox Chase, Ruth was born on December 15, 1937 in Philadelphia Pa. to parents, Bruno and Lorraine Drilling. She graduated from Olney High School in 1955. Ruth started her career working for PGW as a secretary. After a short time with PGW, Ruth went onto her favorite job, raising her children. She returned to work as an administrative assistant for a neighborhood realtor and after 33 years retired to enjoy time with her family and grandchildren. Ruth loved to travel and spend time with her 5 grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her father Bruno, mother Lorraine and step-brother Robert Allebach. Ruth is survived by her beloved husband Wayne, daughter Lori (Ken), son Jim (Roseann) and was a loving grandmother to 5 grandchildren, TJ, Sydney, Jenna, Allie and Sammy. A Viewing is scheduled for Thursday, November 3, 2022 at LAMB FUNERAL HOME, (101 Byberry Rd. Huntingdon Valley, Pa. 19006) from 10:00A.M.– 11:30A.M., followed by a Service, also at LAMB FUNERAL HOME beginning at 11:30A.M. with the interment to follow at Forest Hills Cemetery (25 Byberry Rd. Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006) In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Ann's Choice's benevolent fund.
