Aunt Ruth will be very much missed by all who knew her and most especially her extended family. She always sent cards for every holiday and birthday...she never forgot a birthday. On my wedding day, she slipped into the bedroom where I was getting ready and hugged me and gave me something "old" to have when I walked down the aisle. She was always loving and kind to our children and a trip back up to Connecticut wouldn't be complete if they didn't get to see Uncle Arthur and Aunt Ruth. Our...

There are not enough words to express the depth of my sorrow over Ruthie's passing.
She was my American 'adopted second Mom',
and I will deeply miss our regular calls,
and Ruthie's never-ending stories about her
summers with my mom, and the other stories
about our family on both sides of the border.
