My name is Roberta Hanning LaCorte and I go by the nickname Bertie. Ruth and I went to elementary school together at Eleventh Avenue School. Over the years we stayed in touch and went out to eat around our birthdays with friends. I am so sad to hear of Ruth's passing and knew she had been in poor health for many years. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I am saddened by this event.
