Gramma Ruth was one of the most special people in my life. I will always tresure sitting by her playin her organ, pbs specials, kfc after a long days work going to the dump or mowing the lawn, or her liver and onions which i loved even as a kid.
Gramma you mean the world to me and I thank you for that unconditional love you gave all of us the kind that you only find a few times in life. I will always try to make you proud. I love you! I will see you at the big gate someday :) You...

Ruth was one of my best and dearest friends I loved you and I love you still we had great times in Fairbanks and in Sacramento I have so many great memories
remember our trip on the ferry and our many excursions to the hot springs especially the one in my little (voxwagen)and our flat tire at 2 o'clock in the morning on the way home from Manley. My prayers for all of your family a sister at heart Lily johnson

My first thoughts of Aunt Artis would be around 1957. Her mother, my grandmother came to visit and brought these wondrous pictures she showed at my grade school of a place called Alaska. Those pictures made a lasting impression on me. I would day dream about this strong woman. I got to meet her in the 90's when she came to visit her younger sister Lois Armstrong-Sunde-Koziej, my mother. They had such a great time. I can only smile thinking of two sisters again playing and giggling like young...
