Not sure what to say?

We never got to meet Ruth, but her strength and beauty live on in her daughter Leeann, and will be passed on to her granddaughter Hope. God bless all of you. Love and prayers, Marie and Kevin

I will always remember visiting Aunt Ruth and Uncle Solon and playing with my cousins Solon Jr, Eric, Leeann and Kerry. I loved going to their store and playing with them. I remember the yellow school bus trip to Canada, I believe, where we found tons of coins in the grass and we thought we were rich. I believe this was their bus they made into a motor home, if I am remembering right. Anyway, I always was intrigued with Ruth's love for her kids and grandkids and how much she used to talk...

Aunt Ruth had an amazing laugh. It was uniquely her own, but infectious to everyone. I hope that thinking about her laugh will continue to bring smiles to everyone - what a wonderful legacy to leave.

Ruth Ann and I grew up in the same community, attending Swan River School and Bethany Lutheran Church together.
With her parents, I attended her graduation at Waldorf Junior College. We were both in Seattle in the 1960's. Now, my home is next to her land in Montana.
Ruth Ann has been a very special friend during all these years. I will miss her warm smile and our special times together in Seattle and Montana.
Wishing you comfort in the love and beautiful
memories of...

I met Ruth when my sister married Solon, but I did not really get to know her until we rode the STP together in 2001. I tell you what, when Ruth put her mind to something, there was no stopping her. Ruth was amazing on that bike, persistant and consistant! Thank you Ruth for being an inspiration!

To the Scott family - I am so sorry for your loss, Ruth was a very spirited person and amazing lady. She will be truley missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

We so enjoyed Ruth's company at all of the soccer games over the many years with the boy's playing soccer for so many years together. She was an awesome person and so much fun to talk to while cheering the team on. Please rest in peace.

I worked at Precor when Ruth worked there. She was such a fun lady. I remember her talking about the Seattle to Portland bike ride. We kept track of the miles she rode before the trip while she was training. My sister was her buddy on the trip. I still have her gift she gave me from one of her trips to Montana. I know her heart was always in Montana.

I have known Leeann and Kerry since high school, I remember going to their store in Clearview to meet up for various things and Ruth would always be so interested in how things were going, have a ready hello hug and great big smile and if you were really lucky a fresh donut :) An amazing woman who leaves a legacy of children and grandchildren that were shaped and blessed by her love and caring.
