Not sure what to say?

Helen, I hope you are enjoying the beautiful Spring in Washington and find a special way to remember your Mom today. Thinking of her will inspire me to sharpen my wit a bit as I try to analyze the day's news. God Bless.

May has always had a special place for me since meeting Her when my family moved to Everett in 1956. She always welcomed myself, and our West Ridge kids to her Home almost everyday for our Kids shows at 4pm on TV. Every once in awhile she would have us stay for a slide show when May & Myron had been on a Trip somewhere. Our West Ridge gang usually consisted of myself, Gordon- of coarse- Brothers - Steve & Mark Albright , Chris Cramer, Eldon Wexler, and our youngest member, Kenny Grossman,...

This woman made a change in my life that has been a blessing to me, that I will remember forever. I will always love and remember her for what she did for me. God Bless her, Robin

Mrs. Scougale ... An outstanding, hardworking teacher who set high standards for her students. I remember her copious notes on my reports!

Thinking of you Helen. How blessed you are to have such a long time with your dear Mom.

Helen, I wish I could be there to celebrate your Mom's incredible life. I will always be amazed at her memory. At 100 years young, she remembered lots of individual stories of our 1963 class. Thank you for letting a few of us crash her birthday party! It was especially nice for those of us who didn't have a chance to visit with her at our 50th reunion. She was a tough but great Latin teacher, and a very engaged advisor. We also admired her surprising wit when she let us see it! God...

Helen, Gordon and family, I am so sorry to read on FB, about the recent passing of your Mom. I enjoyed the writeup about her very wonderful and long life! You were blessed to have her for so long, tho I know it is never long enough. My sympathies to all of you! I am not sure if I ever met your Mom. I know I met your Dad when my Dad worked with him! I appreciated your kind words about my sister, Gordon, at our last EHS reunion which occurred shortly after her death! She had encouraged...

I learned to know May as a fellow attender at St. Paul Methodist some years ago. She was a very nice person and I enjoyed having a chance to chat with her each week.

A challenging - and fascinating - teacher, Mrs. Scougale set very high expectations for her students! My sincere condolences to all of her family.
