Ruth Margaret Shepperd

1925 - 2023

November 4, 1925 - March 29, 2023 Ruth Margaret Potts, daughter of the late John William Potts and Margaret Davidson Potts, was born November 4, 1925 in Akron, Ohio. They moved to San Bernardino, California in 1945 where she met her true love, George. She united in holy matrimony to George Michael Shepperd in August of 1947. This union was blessed with four children. George preceded her in death on January 19, 1999. Ruth devoted her life to God and family, and is loved by everyone who knew her, as she was angelic in nature. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: David Shepperd of Atwater, CA, Robert Shepperd of Poulsbo, WA, Meri Grzeca of San Marcos, CA, Dianne Wooldridge of Beaumont, CA; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Viewing and Rosary will be held on April 18, 2023, 5:00 p.m. at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery 570 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino, CA 92404. Funeral Mass will be April 19, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral, 2525 N Arrowhead Ave., San Bernardino, CA 92405. Interment and Reception will follow at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery.
