Ruth was an amazing person in so many ways. She fought for social justice her whole life and accomplished so much. I (and I'm sure all her friends) experienced her death as a painful loss. My thoughts go out to all of you who knew Ruth. My mother and father, Anna and Paul Dudak, were good friends with both Jack and Ruth. My mother kept in contact with Ruth after Jack died. The last time I saw Ruth and her daughters was a year after my mother died in l995 when they visited Burling Street. I was glad we could talk over the memories we all had about friends and family.
