She was a remarkable woman, witty, knowledgable with fascinating stories that she shared with me. I am saddened by her death and want to express my condolences to the whole family.

My condolences to Howard, Lettie and their extended families. Ruth was an unforgettable person who left her mark on all who met her and insisted on living life "her way." I believe I was one of her "favorites," mostly because she felt that Howard needed someone to keep an eye on him.
