Not sure what to say?

Ruthe has inspired me as well as many other women in CT, particularly in the AAUW organization. She wil be sadly missed and fondly remembered.

Ruthe was an amazing woman who inspired all of those she touched. My deepest sympathy to her family. I hope it helps to know how well she was loved by others and how much she will be missed.

TO THE BOYEA FAMILY MY SINCEREST SYMPATHIES ON LOSING YOUR, WIFE , MOM AND NANA. SHE WAS AUNT RUTHE TO ME AND TRIPS TO HER HOME WERE ALWAYS A TREAT,HER ATTIC WAS FILLED WITH FUN THINGS TO DO. SHE HAD A FLAIR AND EXUBERANCE THAT MADE EVERYTHING MORE FUN AND CERTAINLY MORE INTERSETING. SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY US ALL. LOVE GAIL "ALICE" HICKSON

My deepest sympathy to all of Ruthe's family. She had a profound impact on the lives of so many women, myself among them. A revered leader in the American Association of University Women, she was a tireless and passionate advocate for women and the issues affecting women. As such she was a beloved mentor for me and countless others. We will miss her but will ever gain strength and inspiration from all the lessons she taught us by word and example.
Rest in peace, dear Ruthe.

My deepest sympathies to all family and friends. Ruthe's work and service touched so many women, myself included. Ruthe helped women to see possibilities and fight for the resources to acheive them. Ruthe will be missed, but her legacy will live on in all of us who were touched by her life and her work.

Doug, very sorry to hear of Ruthe's passing. Enjoyed talking to her while delivering mail on Black Rock Ave. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Doug and family,
I remember your leadership well from my high school days in the Jr. Leader Corps with Jim Havlick from 1962-1964. I believe I met Ruth upon occasion at "Y" events, and I was sad to read of her passing. Thanks for all you, Ruth, and your family have done for the youth of America. God bless you all during this time of sadness.

Ruthe was always my mentor, as she obviously was to many others. She pushed me along a path that brought many satisfactions, not the least of which was her lifelong friendship. We'll miss you.

Maggie Ford, Past President, AAUW Educational Foundation and AAUW/CT

Ruthe was an inspiration for me....always saying "I'm so proud of you" and "keep going" and "how are things doing in seminary?" She never doubted when others did and was always there to encourage and challenge and motivate. I will always remember you as Ruthe...my friend and dreamer of possibilities.
