Ryan Hickey Obituary

HICKEY Ryan Patrick Hickey, November 30, 1980 - March 17, 2010. Ryan Patrick Hickey, 29, of Alexandria, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 28, 2010, at Faith Life Church, 2407 Beech Road, NW Johnstown, OH., with Pastor Gary Kesee officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Alexandria, OH. Ryan graduated from Grace Haven Christian School. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, music, large family cookouts, family game nights, Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals games. He was a member of the Alexandria Park Board, was employed by Timbuk II Plant Co., Granville, OH, and attended Faith Life Church. Ryan was a kind and gentle person and will be missed dearly by his friends and family. He is survived by his parents, Joe and Linda (Wolfe) Hickey of Alexandria; three brothers, Chris Hickey of Gahanna (fiancee, Mindy Snider), Craig (Angela Leavitt) Parmer of Columbus, John Hickey of Columbus; two sisters, Melanie (Parmer) (Scott) Cote' of Johnstown, Jodi (Hickey) (Shane) Parisot of Harlan, IN; six nieces and nephews, Nick and Emily Cote, Haydan and Casey Parisot, Shelby Hickey, Allie Parmer; aunts, uncles, cousins, and his extended family of Wheeling, West Virginia, and lifelong family friends, David and Kathy Solomon and children. He had a love for animals. He leaves behind his beloved cat, Sammy. Preceded in death by his grandparents Wilford and Martha (Reiger) Wolfe, Joseph and Amy (Jirec) Hickey. Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2010 at CROUSE-KAUBER-SAMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Ryan to Mother's Against Drunk Drivers, Central Valley, 234 Lawrence St., Newark, OH 43055. An online memorial will be located at www.cksammons.com.

Dearest Joe and Linda,
I are so sorry for the loss of Ryan!! He was one precious young man!
Carla was probably one of the first to greet him as he entered in to enternal life with Jesus.
