Ryan Aarron Young, 28, agriculture teacher for the Garland ISD, died Monday, March 31, 2008.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday at Edgewood Terrace Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3417 Sydney Street. Burial: Private. Visitation: 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at historic Baker Funeral Home.
Ryan Aarron Young, my beloved son, graduated with honors from O.D. Wyatt High School in 1997 and received a bachelor's degree from Tarleton State University, May 11, 2002. He taught agriculture in the Denton, Wharton and Garland school districts. Ryan was affiliated with several professional organizations. He was a "real awesome cowboy" who loved horses and rodeos.
His father, R.A. Young, preceded him in death.
Survivors: He is cherished forever in memory by his devoted mother, Valarie Hunt Young; brother, Raillan Young (Jessica); nephew, Remington Young, all of League City; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George C. Hunt of Fort Worth; many uncles, aunts, cousins, other family members; and a vast number of students and friends.

Dear Valerie,
I was so sorry to hear about your son. As a mother of two sons, this is just more than I can stand. I know how much they meant to you. You and I talked a lot about our boys. We always had that in common, out great love for our children. I will continue to pray for you and your family.

I fondly remember your Ryan and Raillan stories that always said to me, "my sons are fine young men and I am so proud of them."
