Rest in peace Dr. Jay. I miss you and often remember you. Thank you for everything!

Dr Jay was an icon in pediatric orthopedics, my mentor and an example for all. He is missed all the time. Rest in peace my friend.

It has been 12 years since Dr Jay left us for heaven and he is deeply missed. What a wonderful, special, incredibly smart, funny, clever, genuine person. Dr. Jay was a spectacular mentor to all and a dear friend. I miss his kindness, sage, wisdom, and most of all his friendship. To the family, please know I´m thinking of you, keeping you all in my prayers and thanking God for our dear Dr. Jay, especially today. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Psalms 116:15

I think of Dr Jay many times through the years. I had the privilege to work with him at AI Dupont. He was such a presence in the OR, he was a advocate for his pts. and demanded excellence in his Operating room. I still can hear him directing his team .
He was a excellent teacher and surgeon.
He really cared and loved what he did.

Dr jay was my doctor/surgeon for 20 years at DuPont hospital. I remember he was always so warm and comforting I knew when he was doing surgery on me I was in the best hands possible and I am devastated by his passing.

I can't believe he passed away! I remember that you performed a triple arthrodesis on my foot. You will be forever missed. My final words are THANK YOU

I was referred to Dr. Jay when I was 19. He was my physician into my early twenties when AI DuPont Institute stopped treating adults. Never before or since have I had a more wonderful doctor. His genuine concern, compassion and gentle nature together with his medical expertise were among the qualities that distinguished him from other doctors I have known. My family loved him as much as I did. Through the years I reached out to him with questions and he always responded with interest and...

I was a patient of Dr Jays for 21 years. He was amazing. He was great to my entire family. I recently had more ortho surgery for my hip dysplasia and my husband was looking for a way to email him to let him know how well I'm doing and we were heartbroken to discover his passing. He will truly be missed.
