Not sure what to say?

As the years pass we start to lose our favorite people..
I last saw my Uncle Sal a couple years ago and I wish I could see him again, he was a good man..
I'll miss ya "banger"..

Sincere condolences to the love of Sal's life, the gracious and beautiful Kathleen, to JoAnne, Karen and families. Those wonderful years at Hoberg's bring a smile to my face to this day. My parents, Ann & Al Liva continued to enjoy Sal's musicmaking in more recent years at Westlake Joe's. He always had a smile on his face, an enthusiastic greeting for everyone and a song in his heart. Along with the great loss to your family, he will be missed by the countless people whose lives he...

So sorry to hear about Sal. He gave me my first chance in playing "Big Band" music. Five of those years were on 49er's Band under his direction. I feel a need to say that Sal was truly loyal and wanted to help people in getting established in the Bay Area music business. You were also a solid member of your community and a credit to Local No. 6, AF of M. Good-bye Sal, I will always have a special place in my heart for you.

I was very sorry to hear of Sal's passing. I haven't seen him in 40+ years, but he was a big part of a group of girls from Healdsburg's memories of Hoberg's! We spent two summers after graduating from high school in 1963 working at the resort as waitresses and dancing the nights away to the wonderful music of Sal Carson. He was a kind man and we all enjoyed the time spent knowing him so many years ago. My condolences to his family.

I knew Sal way back when I went to Uni High with him and he had his band and some of the originals I remember were Harold Minas;Jimmy Kaar; Lennie Sequera and Al Young. Boy; a long time ago, maybe 1938. I`ll always remember Sal as a good guy and my sympathies to all his family.

I knew Sal for 35 years, and he was a warm, humorous, talented and very kind considerate human being. I just had lunch with Sal at Original Joe's in San Francisco on September 14th for our memorial for Max Weiss, who knew Sal for a lot longer than I did. He will be missed.

We wish to offer our condolences in your loss. Mr. Carson was a crowd pleaser at many of the Carpenters Local #22 dinners. He will be missed.
