Not sure what to say?

I received a remembrance of Mr. Chickerella and wanted to add that in genealogy I have been to a little town in Sicily called Cianciana, where Johns parents were born. It seems the Chickerella family came from the same place but spelled a little different. Little did I know when I attended Linden that I would marry into the LaCorte/Calcara family. I love family history. Gone but not forgotten. Roberta Hanning LaCorte (wife of John)

Coach, I am shocked and saddened for you and your family. It seems like yesterday that we were together after the loss of your son. I know how close you and Sam were and, although I didn't know him well, I know that he was a wonderful person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Connie, It was wonderful talking with you at the funeral home and being able to share some of the great "sayings" Mr. Chickerella shared with me over the eight years I worked with him at Prudential. Thanks to him, I enjoyed 32 years of marriage with Paul Grossman. I still remember the day vividly in 1968 when he told me that he had hired a guy for me to marry! I owe him a lot.... for Paul, 3 children, and 5 grandchildren...Thanks Mr. Chickerella, may you rest in peace! You will be missed.

We lived next to Connie and Sam for many years and watched them and their family grow and thrive. Our prayers are with you. Jo and Cal Alban
