Sam Hong Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 10, 2019.
Sam Hong will be remembered as a caring father, loving husband, and compassionate brother.
His tender smile and warm laugh will be missed by the many people who had the chance to know what a kind man he was. A child and servant of Jehovah God he will be deeply missed.

Dr Hong was a gentle and thorough doctor who cared for our Dad at Goodwin House.

He was what we like to call an "old fashioned doctor", the responsive and caring kind.

Dr. Hong phoned us out of kindness and concern several times while Dad was in the hospital.
Our family and the staff at Goodwin House miss him so very very much.

From G-d we come and to G-d is our return.
Dr. Hong had a quiet demeanor and it was somewhat comforting when he responded to pages to see a patient that had a change for the worst (at IMVH). He had a thought process and I know his assessment / decision and intervention help saved a lot of lives whether it was recommending lab work/ diagnostic test / transfer upstairs or back to the facility back where the patient came from.
He was outstanding physician.
My sincere condolences to his family.
Thank you for sharing those pictures. I never really seen Dr. Hong laugh before!
Respectfully submitted,
Ni'mat Muhammad
