Sammy Nicklis Abdou III

I just recently became aware that Sammy had passed. I met Sammy in August of 1970 and we dated until I moved to Hawaii with my roommates in August of 1971. I married and moved to San Francisco in 1973. I divorced in 1976 and Sammy and I connected again. We were friends and he even came to visit me in San Francisco once. I would go back to El Paso to visit family every couple of years and we would have lunch or coffee each time and would also stay in touch from time to time on the phone. I...

My deepest condolences to Eddie and his family over the loss of Sammy. What a funny guy who fired up a room whenever he walked in. Sammy was also the best dressed man I ever knew while in college. Slacks and button down shirts always with his initials embroidered on his shirts...pure class! He was a beloved SAE fraternity member and will be missed.
