Not sure what to say?

Dearest Joyce - our hearts ache for your loss and the loss of a dear friend. Our thoughts are with you.

Sam was a friend of mine before
meeting you. He was a fun loving guy
and a wonderful cook. I received a call from a friend in Toledo that had seen the obituary. Our mutual friends from the past were visiting me and we pulled up the details of Sam's passing. He talked about you, Joyce, when first meeting you, and I was so happy to see he had a good and happy life together with you. My sincere sympathy goes out to you. I still can't believe he is gone. Pamela Houdeshell Thomas

Dear Joyce, I am so sorry I couldn't attend the memorial for Sam this past Monday. As you know I was working in Bowling Green and it ran into the evening. I really respected Sam and learned so much from him over the years. He was a good friend, and a generous mentor. We enjoyed many lunches together talking shop and food and wine and travel and all things fun.I am so sorry for your loss.

We were so sorry to read about Sam's passing. He photographed our wedding nearly 25 years ago and left us with many precious pictures. He was truly an artist and we so appreciated the way he captured our special day. May he rest in peace and may all of his family be comforted in this time of loss.

Sam, had a sense about him that showed laughter and love every time you saw him. I had net seen him for many years but did chat from to time on Facebook. He enjoyed his wine and grandchildren... I am very glad to have gotten to know you Sam Ball, I learned a lot from you... Douglas Wolfe
