i last saw sam and sonny davis toghter at the eagles 40 or 50 years ago. we enjoyed talking about old times.

I was a frieñd of Sam's sister Ruth. I love this fàmily and have fond memories of them,

Sam was a friend of mine when we lived in
North Moreland. We visited my Grandparents
in Kentucky and slept in a hayloft which we enjoyed. God Bless Sam.

Championship game. Score tied, bottom of the ninth two outs..... 3 balls and two strikes on the batter.

Sam always had a kind word for lower classmates, was admired and lettered in at least two sports. A tenacious competitor on the playing field.

Among other sporting skills, Sam was an accomplished base runner and led the Scioto County Fast Pitch Softball League in stolen bases.

On Summer evenings, league competition was enjoyed at the temporary...
