Sorry to hear. Sam was a great doctor we were not in same area but often ate lunch together. I remember him complaining a lot about all the problems with having a swimming pool at home. Ha He administered anesthesia to me twice and was very good with me.

Sam was a great friend when I was at St. Joe. He had a fine sense of humor, loved people, and generously helped me with my patients. He was a excellent physician. RIP Samuel!

I worked as an SICU nurse when Dr. Carter worked at St. Joes. He was always kind and easy to converse with. He will be missed.

I have to say I did not know this family or this man Samuel Carter that died. It does say that he was born in muldrow, Oklahoma and went to vian school which that's where I graduated high school and this area is where I am from. I so impressed with the accomplishments he and his wife have made and their family. This is one extraordinary family that I think I've ever read about and I really do send my heartfelt condolences. Maggie and I are absolutely heartbroken over the loss of Uncle Sam. We can't fully express our gratitude for his guidance and comfort. Rest well Uncle Sam, we love you!
