Samuel Miller Obituary
WILLARDS — Samuel "Sam" N. Miller Sr., 62, of Willards died suddenly on Thursday, July 14, 2011, in Baltimore. Born in Pikeville, Ky., he was a son of Ernie and Dot Miller.
Sam owned and operated Millers Auto Center for more than 40 years. His son, Neal, is now carrying on the family business, in its same location in Willards. He also belonged to several bass clubs, the most recent being Pocomoke River Bassmasters, which is affiliated with the Delaware Bass Federation. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and acquaintances and brothers and sisters-in-law.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Calloway Miller; one son, Neal Miller and his wife, Jessica; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Cody Miller; special Pop-Pop to Devin and Mykayla; also survived by one sister, Brenda Mason.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7-8 p.m. at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury. A time of remembrance and prayer will begin at 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bounds Funeral Home on 705 E. Main St. in Salisbury to offset the cost of the funeral.
