So sorry to hear about Sam. We've known him for a long time. He always had a great outlook on life. And always had nice things to say of everyone. Our thoughts and prayers to the family and friends.

To Sammy's family: It's hard to believe that less than a few weeks ago my daughter and I spoke to Sammy and gave no indication of an illness. We are thinking and praying for all of you. J.W Broadway, Jr.Leanne Broadway

I remember in 1974 during my mother's illness, one of the few things she could eat was Wayside clam chowder, and Mr. Sam made sure that she had plenty of it. He sent it to her by the
gallon. In reading these guest book entries, it is evident that Mr. Vereen was loved by many and is a testament of a life well lived. I am sure he would be proud of all the nice things people have
Written about him, and I feel sure that his family is comforted by it.
