Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry for your loss Aunt Kathy, cousins Karlee, Brendan, Stephan, and Erin.
Love,
your nephew and cousin Christopher

I had the pleasure of meeting Sam in his Edward Jones office in 2013, and working with him and his great branch team in years following. He was a respected leader, top Edward Jones Financial Advisor, and trusted friend.

I am so very sorry to Sam's family, to his clients and his Edward Jones family for this tremendous loss. He will be missed by many.

We had the pleasure to get to know Sam because of his involvement with the Zeeland Education Foundation. He was always a beacon of light at a meeting with his smile, good humor, and thoughtful comments. However, in a very respectful way, Sam was not afraid to hold his own when he did not agree! He will be missed!

Sam had such a positive attitude with what he had been facing as well as such a great smile. You will be missed.

To Kathy, and children we send all of our sympathy ! Difficult to know what to say ...our lives have been apart but you all have been on our minds and our memories!

Our deepest sympathy to Sam's family in his passing. He was so very proud of you and loved you so much. We so enjoyed seeing all of the adorable photos of you that he kept in his office. We are going to miss Sam so much, he was a trusted advisor and helped us in so many ways. What a special man. We were blessed to have known him. Please know he will be remembered and missed always. We pray our Lord will encourage you and give you strength for each new day. May your years of special memories...

The times that I did see him, he was a ray of sunshine. Always smiling ear to ear and a joy to talk to. Praying for your family! Love you guys!
