I had the pleasure of meeting Sam in his Edward Jones office in 2013, and working with him and his great branch team in years following. He was a respected leader, top Edward Jones Financial Advisor, and trusted friend.

I am so very sorry to Sam's family, to his clients and his Edward Jones family for this tremendous loss. He will be missed by many.

We had the pleasure to get to know Sam because of his involvement with the Zeeland Education Foundation. He was always a beacon of light at a meeting with his smile, good humor, and thoughtful comments. However, in a very respectful way, Sam was not afraid to hold his own when he did not agree! He will be missed!

We are so sorry for your loss and also that we cannot be there for the visitation and service. We know you will miss him greatly. We pray that you will find comfort in your wonderful memories and knowing that others care.
