We often say; "may memories comfort you"; but in this case it is not a cliche.
I remember my first year on the school board when Sandra and the teachers association picketed my office, with my 5th grade teacher, Ella McGranaghan, holding a sign saying that I was "unfair". By the time Sandra was done "explaining" it to me, I think I was convinced.
I look amongst my mementos and see a "Karcher for Mayor" button and I remember Sandra's dedication to public service. ...
