We were so saddened to hear of your loss. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Unbeknownst to me, your sister and I went to the same hairdresser though I never made the connection. What can anyone say about Sandra..She.was my first friend when we first moved to Crowley.. Like some here I knew her for over fifty yrs.We always had great times at church and growing up in our neighbohood in Crowley.I will always remember your smile and laugh! Know that you are missed by many. God bless and comfort you Miss Jean and Michael., Kaleb and Tyler.

I worked with Sandra at DPS all the years she was there. Always bright and ready for a laugh. She was the type of person you liked to work with because she was capable and ready to get the job done.

Every time you saw Sandra she had a smile. She was a wonderful human being and will be missed greatly by all of her "users" at DPS. She treated us kindly at all times and always did everything she could to help someone. My prayers are with her family. May God bless.

I shouldn't be writing this and you shouldn't be gone. Time and distance separated us - we've been friends for over fifty years. You were the first friend I can remember from church. I'm sorry I can't be at the memorial service for you; but, I don't know that I could bear to sit through it.
We had so much fun as kids, didn't we? Sunday school, training union, GA's, choir. Remember we thought we were so smart on Sunday nights "talking" in the choir loft? Tracing one letter at a time to spell out words. We weren't too well behaved. Daddy use to love to torment you on Saturday nights when you came over to eat BBQed hamburgers. I was Boudreaux and you were, and always were, Blackie. Even years later he called you Blackie. Well, since you're both in Heaven, tell him to fire up that grill and get the hamburgers going!
You are well and whole now and for that, I am exceedingly grateful. But, you will be missed so much. Our lives are richer for having known you. Our lives are so much emptier because you're gone. I wish I could hug you one last time and sing "I'll Fly Away" with you one last time... Watch over me, Blackie. I'll love you forever.

Sandra was a very fun outgoing loving person. She loved her two boys very much. I don't know what we are all going to do Christmas Eve, going to her home and seeing everyone was always so much fun! She now has the best seat for her NASCAR and LSU games ( make sure we win, put in a good word for us ). I will miss you and know how much my sister Jan will be lost without you! You were a very loved individual!
