My earliest memory of Sandy, as eldest cousin, is her babysitting us, " Jeanette's girls." There may have been some "awe" over the pretty, older, teenage cousin. She chatted with us while sketching in an art pad, something she did, she said, when the "mood" struck her. Another time she ironed her hair. (It was the 60s no less.) Yeah, she was awe- inspiring.
