Here is Sara with the students she loved and inspired at Kennedy High School in Richmond, just a few weeks after her brain surgery! She's in the red cape (of course) on the far right.

Sara and I met in 1972 as American Field Service Exchange students. We spent that first night waiting out the hurricane that destroyed much of the east coast. We survived the first ever pilots strike during that trip to Costa Rica. We had harrowing times and Everytime we got together over all these years it's always been a fun and exciting time.
