BEST TEACHER EVER!!!

She was the toughest and sweetest firecracker I ever met. Her passion and zest for life was inspiring. I will never forget her playing the piano every morning for the students during morning announcements. Just a jem of an educator with a heart of gold. I love you always. RIP and tell my Mom I love her.

Mrs. Shipe was one of the most awesome women I have known in my life. She was my 3rd grade teacher back in 1962. I have thought of her often over the years with great respect and adoration. Her love for her family was so evident in her love for the children she taught and cared for. I thank God for making her a part of my life. God Bless !

Mrs. Ships was an incredible human being who believed in her students when the world counted them out. She encouraged students through her Sharpie honor roll program and always had a deep love and respect for the importance of the arts in school curriculum. My mother, Nymia Colon, had the honor of working with her and I had the pleasure of playing the piano with her. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Mrs Shipe was the best! She truly cared about her students. She didn't put up with anyone's bull poop. Thanks for caring about your kids.
