WILSON, SARA FRANCES WALKER, 93, wife of the late Arthur Warren Wilson, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 19, 2017 in Naples, Florida. Frances, as she was known to her family and friends, was born on November 4, 1923 in Valdosta, Georgia to Edward and Emma Walker. She grew up in Thomasville, Georgia and later moved to South Dade County where she attended Ponce de Leon High School, graduating with the highest grade point average in her class. Frances met her husband Warren and they were married in 1941. Together they built a successful business, Wilson Farms, and raised their four children, proudly providing college educations for each one. Frances was a selfless, devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, listening to music, and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Arthur Warren Wilson. Frances is survived by her daughter Dianne Storm and her husband Fred, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, son Daryll Wilson and his wife Pamela, of Ponte Vedra, Florida, son Douglas Wilson and his wife Chloe, of Leesburg, Florida, and daughter Laura Carlton and her husband Jim, of Naples, Florida, grandchildren Julie Lehman and her husband Daniel, of Acworth, Georgia, Susanne Bazan and her husband Robert, of Miramar, Florida, Geoffrey Wilson, of Orlando, Florida, Erin Wilson and her fianc‚ Peter Chiaramonte, of Decatur, Georgia, Erika Tucker and her husband Darren, of Winter Garden, Florida, Jonathan Wilson and his wife Sandra, of Bonn, Germany, and Matthew and Sara Carlton, of Naples, Florida. She also leaves great grandchildren Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Joshua, and Trace. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, July 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Park Cemetery South, 11655 S.W. 117th Avenue, Miami, Florida, 33186, with interment immediately following.
