COLE, Sarah DiehlAge 86. Born September 25, 1925 and passed away August 8, 2012 in Nashville, TN. Preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert Buie Leonard and Mabel Fly Leonard; husbands, Kenneth G. Diehl and George E. Cole; brother, Robert William Leonard, and sister, Dorothy Leonard Kavanau. Sarah is survived by her sons, Kenny (Patty) Diehl and Robert (Sallie) Diehl; grandchildren, Adam (Whitney) Diehl, Van Diehl, and Kelly Diehl; nieces, Karen Kavanau, Carol Solesby, Nancy Phillips; nephews, Tom Diehl, Howard Diehl and Allen Diehl; step-children, George Cole, Jr., Karen Ahern and Martin Cole. Sarah was a 1943 graduate of East High School and a fifty-five year member of Calvary United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandparent and friend. Visitation will be held from three until five o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday, the 12th of August, 2012 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Service will be held at one o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 13th of August, 2012 at Calvary United Methodist Church with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers are Howard Diehl, Allen Diehl, Dan Crompton, Keith Phillips, George Cole, Jr., and Larry Ahern. Honorary Pallbearers are Tom Diehl, John Hewitt, Martin Cole and members of the Pathfinder Class at Calvary United Methodist Church.
