I haven't seen Sally for many years, but immediately recognized her name and recalled her as such a gentle soul and volunteer at the MHA. Her artistic instincts gave her a special vision into the souls off others. I am sincerely sorry for your loss.

As a teen in the late sixties and early seventies searching for ways to express my creativity and humanity, Sally introduced me to the plight of inner city Milwaukee children, where I volunteered with the HeadStart program throughout Jr. and Sr. High; her pottery studio, where Dorothy Steele and I fashioned primitive clay bowls, some which still grace my bookshelves; and, recycling (in 1968 Sally was the ONLY person I knew to take her own shopping bag to the Pewaukee Safeway).
