I have many wonderful memories of Sally as an artist, mentor and friend - she was, and remains, inspirational. You have my deepest sympathy.

I haven't seen Sally for many years, but immediately recognized her name and recalled her as such a gentle soul and volunteer at the MHA. Her artistic instincts gave her a special vision into the souls off others. I am sincerely sorry for your loss.

As a teen in the late sixties and early seventies searching for ways to express my creativity and humanity, Sally introduced me to the plight of inner city Milwaukee children, where I volunteered with the HeadStart program throughout Jr. and Sr. High; her pottery studio, where Dorothy Steele and I fashioned primitive clay bowls, some which still grace my bookshelves; and, recycling (in 1968 Sally was the ONLY person I knew to take her own shopping bag to the Pewaukee Safeway). She lived with amazing grace, and she remains one of the top influential women in my life. My thoughts are with all of the family.

Sally was a delightful volunteer at the Mental Health Association. She treated each caller as a special person, with dignity and respect. She will be remembered for her quiet smile, her creativity and kindness.

To all the family
I have great memories of special times in Pewaukee with all of you. We were so fortunate to have such loving family and friends to share our lives with. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Your wife and Mom was very special to me.
