David, Yitty, I am so sorry. I loved your mom. She was a sane being in my world of insanity and knew always how to handle me, first in early grade school, in my one season at Camp Galila, and then as a neighbor. I only went to YHC for a year and a half but Mrs. Hamm made such a huge impression on me and I never forgot her kindness. She took me under her wing, invited me for shabbos to her home, and always checked in with me to make sure I was OK.
