Read MoreI never knew Sarah, as I never babysat the Lithgow kids. Named my daughter after Robin as I liked the name. I still think of the family as Yellow Springs folk like myself though I moved in 1961! And of course I have looked for John in movies and TV ever since Garp.

My heartfelt condolences to the Lithgow family. She has a special spot in my "memory bank" from more than 50 years ago when I was on an Antioch co-op job at a school in MA. Your dad was teaching at Stockbridge that year, and David and Robin were students...Your mom and her cozy kitchen provided a warm family spot -- a respite -- with her wonderful sense of humor and warm spirit. She taught me to make bread! You all have wonderful memories to share with your own children and grandchildren.
