As a co-worker of Sally for 25 years and a friend for many more, I will miss her greatly. Although I live in North Carolina, I spoke by phone with Sally on a frequent basis and always enjoyed our conversations about birds, squirrels, her garden, the weather in Tacoma and N.C., planning for yet another Cascadia/McNeil gathering, other co-workers, people who had passed and those who were ill I am sad for those of us who will miss Sally, but pleased that she passed quietly.
