Sarah has always been a family favorite for my late parents and me. She and I met when she was 17 and I was 7. Later I was so pleased to have her as my 7th grade home room teacher as Miss Davenport in Hamburg in 1950. We continued to communicate. What a sweet kind woman. Mrs Yatron was a wonderful role model. I have an image of her swirling into the room at HHS in stylish felt skirts of the time. She made a very deep and lasting impression on me in many ways. What more could a teacher ask for. God rest her soul and give you comfort. She will not be forgotten.

As a 7th grader in Hamburg High, I looked forward to seeing Mrs. Yatron every morning because she dressed so nice, wore beautiful jewelry and was always so pleasant. A wonderful teacher. Never forgot her. She was a darling human being.
