Not sure what to say?

Last night 8-06-2021, Sally and I celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends in Colorado. Scott was in our thoughts not only because he was my Best Man, he was one of my best friends throughout high school.

I sure miss you Scott God´s gain is our loss. Let us glorify Our Lord in both life and death. Scott intercede for us.

Always keep the fond memories and good times close in your hearts and minds. This will help to give you strength and even bring a smile to your face every now and then. Always remember that God is their for you to give you comfort and hope. He loves and care for you.

Scott was one of my best friends in High School. We were team mates and did everything together. He was my best man at my wedding, and Sally and I introduced him to Jeanie. He will be truly missed and our condolences go to Jeanie and family.

I am pleased to share with the family that I have communicated with the UTA athletic department. A blast notice of Scott's passing has be sent this AM to the entire UTA ex-letterman's group. This team of football players can now pay their respects in their personal manner. His helmet is also placed figuratively in a special place. This happened so quickly that attendance at the service is difficult, but Teammates will be there in spirit....Buddy Miers #90

Scott and I played football together at Pasadena High School. He was our fullback and strong as a bull. He was my friend and will be missed.

Scott and I did not get together as much in our later years but we never really parted. In high school we actually shared homes and parents. Both mothers took care of both of us ( we probably almost drove them up the wall). We then shared three great years as roommates in college, were in each other's weddings, and remained in touch thereafter. Last saw Scott when they were at our house a couple of months ago. He was still just Scott - the best friend I or anyone else ever had and best man...

My condolences to Scott's family. He was a friend of mine from high school
