My memories of Scott and Pat go back to early childhood. I only occasionally ran into him as an adult and always felt like I was super lucky to have had time with him. In my memory, he was unfailingly kind, funny, thoughtful of others and super smart. We had lots of great adventures in high school and I'm very sorry for the loss of this remarkable man.

Scotty will always be remembered as a thoughtful, compassionate man who loved life. He taught me skiing and was a good friend during our time at UCSB Sigma Chi fraternity . Love you Scotty
