I mostly only remember Scott when he was little -- sweet, blue eyes, so innocent, my neighbor. I am so saddened to learn of Scott's death; however, we know he's just gone on ahead. Love to all the Flaherty family.

I'm sad to have learned of Scott's passing. We were best friends throughout High School. I always enjoy taking Scott flying with me, and shooting hoops. My thoughts and prayers are with the Flaherty family. God Bless

I'm deeply saddened to have learned of Scott's passing. It's been many years since I last saw him. He was a good player and outstanding teammate on my 1970-71 9th grade basketball team as well as a good student. I remember him well and also the other members of the family who were very supportive of the athletic program at Hastings. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Sincerely, Tom Williams

To the Flaherty family, I am saddened to hear of your loss. I lost touch with Scott after high school but want you to know that as I reflect back, I have none other than positive memories of him. He was a good friend and truely "one of the good guys". My sincere condolences.

Sad day. Lost of an old friend. Scott was kind and fun to be around, just like the rest of the Flaherty family. He was hard to guard and I could never block his fade away jumper. Many great memories.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I work for Thomas Fenner Woods Insurance Agency and Scott was one of our insureds for many years. He was probably one of the most honest people I have ever known. If he told me he was going to be there at a certain time then he was there and if he couln't make it he would call me. He would stop in to make his payment and we would visit. He really was a talker and I enjoyed our visits. You have my sincere sympathy.

I lost touch with Scott many years ago. During our late teens and early 20's many evenings were spent hanging out and just having fun with a good set of friends. I was glad to be a part of the group and look back fondly on those times. Scott was a good friend I and everyone enjoyed being with.
